If you suspect a family member or friend might have a problem with substance use, speak to them about getting help. Treatment can be arranged in different modalities to fit almost any schedule. Counselors will work with you and your family member/friend to design a treatment plan that works with you. Riverside County
SU CARES

Substance Use Community Access, Referral, Evaluation, and Support Line  provides assessments and referrals to residents of Riverside County seeking treatment for substance use or alcohol dependency. Bi-lingual AOD counselors are available between 8:00am and 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

SAMHSA’s National Helpline

SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

CalHOPE Warm Line

The CalHOPE warm line connects callers to other people who have persevered through struggles with stress, anxiety, depression—emotions triggered by circumstances and events in everyday life. The peer counselors listen with compassion, provide non-judgmental support and guide you to additional resources that can give hope and help them cope.

The California Substance Use Line is a free, 24/7 tele-consultation service for California clinicians


Staffed by experienced physicians and pharmacists who can answer confidential questions about substance use evaluation and management, including medications to treat opioid use disorder, the California Substance Use Line provides fast, reliable, patient-tailored guidance and resources that can facilitate substance use prevention and treatment efforts.
